Aberdeen-based Hydro Group Plc, a global design and manufacturer of underwater cables and connectors for subsea, underwater, topside and onshore applications, will be exhibiting on stand 259 at IDEF13, the 11th International Defence Industry Fair.
With the Turkish Navy and other main defense contractors being a key focus for Hydro Group, the company is looking to engage with new customers and strengthen relationships across the course of the four-day show.
The company will be exhibiting a number of its innovative and game-changing technologies including its latest 110 ways Hydro Bond Deck Mate (HDM) electrical connector, pressure turret gland, strain terminations, optical and electrical cable and connector assemblies and its 36kV connector.
The energy-service firm, made up of Hydro Bond Engineering and Hydrocable Systems Ltd, is a major national and international supplier of harsh environment engineered products to the offshore oil and gas, defence, oceanographic, renewable energies, diving and ROV/AUV markets. Representatives from Hydro Group will be on its stand to discuss the company’s current activities and plans for the future, as well as answer any questions about its technologies.
IDEF’13 was a very well attended and highly successful show for Hydro Group. The team met a number of very interesting people from a selection of sectors within the defence industry, including aerospace, military and maritime. It was a great opportunity to learn about and further understand the supply chain in the defence sector in Turkey, make some positive leads and meet high profile contacts from the companies in the UK and overseas.
